As soon as I returned home, I went to work on "Snow White and the Huntsman" alongside the stunt team. This had horses galloping straight into us with soldiers waving shields and swords and we had to follow up with a battle scene. It was pretty hard as I had to get up at 4am most mornings, and then drive for 90 minutes to the set and then work for 12hrs with awkward and uncomfortable armour and then drive home. But it was a great experience and I made some very good contacts on set. I have been asked to do some other work on the film but I had to decline as I have already missed quite a few classes at the gym and had been let down by some of the cover teachers, I can't afford to mess up with my job too much and filming isn't my full time job yet.

Special thanks to @KristenStewBabe for sending these in!
Snow White and the Huntsman, a new epic action-adventure from Universal Pictures, has now begun production at Pinewood Studios.
The crew has started to construct some fantastic sets on the Studios’ backlot, as well as on some of its world famous stages. In the film, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the one girl threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power. The breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale is from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland, producer Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders (Halo 3 campaign). www.snowwhiteandthehuntsman.com Andrew Smith, Group Corporate Affairs Director at Pinewood, commented: “We’re delighted to be hosting Universal once again for its latest project, Snow White and the Hunstman. The sets and costumes look fantastic, and I am continually struck by the talented and skilled craftsmen and women currently working in the UK film industry. Pinewood is committed to maintaining its status as a centre of excellence for skills and training, and this is a central theme of the Studios’ plans for Project Pinewood. Locating the new Screen Crafts Academy at Project Pinewood adjacent to the Studios would give students an opportunity to experience a world-class filming environment and learn first-hand from the best in the business.” Source: PinewoodGroup You know we totally adore everything about Kristen Stewart.
That said, apparently we're all in for a treat, ‘cause sources close to her latest production, Snow White and the Huntsman, tell us our fave gal is getting a makeover. We're not talkin' about a new hairdo or anything, apparently Kristen's makeover is totally internal! And it's all about the confidence, dolls. "You know how she's always kind of dug her shoulders in, looked a little like she's digging her teeth?" an in-the-know Snow White insiders tell us. "Well, she is now so different. Those shoulders are back, sister, and she is proud! It's a nice change from her past roles." All together now: Hallelujah! You know we dig K.Stew in her mucho famous fangbanger role as Bella Swan, but we're totally ready to see her kick some ass in Snow White. It's about time the girl got to do the savin' instead of being saved by a hunky vamp. And apparently things are going swimmingly on the set: "She's doing great, having a really great time filming," our source says about the flick that began shooting last Monday. And in case you were still a bit worried about K and her costars (what with the London riots and all), we're told once more than everything is A-OK. "No, she was not affected by riots," we're promised. "She is completely fine. The whole cast is. No one was ever in danger." Well, in that case, let's start the countdown until Snow White hits theaters! Source: AccessHollywood Chris Hemsworth has said that he enjoyed having a much lighter workload filming The Avengers than in his first Marvel Studios outingThor.
Hemsworth, who reprises his role as the Norse God of Thunder inThe Avengers, revealed that having an ensemble cast meant that they were all able to relax a bit more. "Workload is a little better because it's spread across the team instead of you holding it all," Hemsworth told The Hollywood Reporter. "It was actually a pretty tough shoot," Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr added. "It was a very ambitious story and a long schedule, but nobody had to work too hard." Downey Jr and Hemsworth are joined in the comic book epic by Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson and Tom Hiddleston. The Avengers is currently in production and will open in cinemas on May 4, 2012. Source: Digital Spy |
