Bella is in the house! The Twilight lead arrived in France this monday, to shoot for the magazine Vanity Fair. And to add to her trip in Paris, Kristen Stewart got to hang out with Karl Lagerfeld ...
Vanity Fair doesn't do things halfway so Kristen was invited to Paris for a glamourous shoot. And we dressed up Bella with the most beautiful French designs. That's how, Monday, after wriggling to escape the paparazzi at the Roissy airport, Kristen Stewart spent her afternoon in the garden of the Palais Royal for an haute couture shoot. Dressed up in Dior Hate-Couture for the Fall-Summer 2012 collection, in a grey princess dress embellished by feathers et coiffed with a 'fascinator', a pretty black hat gently placed on her head, the Beauty posed for Mario Testino's camera. We can imagine easily the result of this shoot for a Vanity Fair cover, especially since Kristen plays the charming Amazon, surrounded by guards in uniforms and riding beautiful white horses. Best actress nominee Charlize Theron didn’t just wow us at the Golden Globes with her gorgeous pink Dior gown; we were equally smitten by the romantic updo stylist Enzo Angileri created for her.
Here, he tells us how. “I wanted her hair to have a casual feeling — very soft, almost as if she had pulled it together herself,” explains Angileri. “The design is modern, asymmetrical and just a little messy.” Instructions: Angileri started by curling small sections of Theron’s naturally wavy hair with a two inch curling iron. “I used the larger iron because I didn’t want to curl her hair, but to refine the natural wave. This helped create an effortless transition from her natural look to red carpet,” he says. After a few minutes, he brushed through her hair to create a romantic, soft texture. Next, Angileri swept her hair to the left and made three sections. “I pulled and rolled the first two into a loose bun and pinned them, working with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray throughout the process. I released and wrapped the last section under and around the bun and pinned it. Finally, I adjusted and freed strands in the bun so it looked even more unstructured, messy and a bit wispy.” The final touch was spraying the do with Moroccanoil Frizz Control. In her second all black look of the week, Charlize wore a form-fitting Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 dress. With lace trim around the bustline, this dress has a bit of a lingerie vibe, balanced out by the lady-like flare of the knee-length skirt. Side-swept hair and caged heels play up Charlize’s bombshell look. Source via @WorldMcQueen Balenciaga will soon have its own place in the Twilight. The brand has signed actress Kristen Stewart as the face of the newest Balenciaga fragrance for women.
Stewart, best known for her role as Bella Swan in the blockbuster movie saga, will represent a to-be-announced scent which is expected to be launched this fall. “Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” Stewart told WWD on Thursday. “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.” [...] Stewart noted that after a busy 2011, she’s taking a bit of time to relax. “My horizon is clear as of now (except for this!) in terms of new projects, which feels incredible,” she said. “I have finished three films I can’t wait to see come to fruition this year, ‘On The Road,’ ‘Snow White and the Huntsman,’ and ‘Breaking Dawn 2.’” Read the rest at Women's Wear Daily Congrats to our Snow White! Oh, yeah, people. After yesterday’s PCA dress rehearsal, awards season 2012 got really fired up at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards tonight. Our appetites for sequins and lace and tuxes are whetted. We are ready to spend the next month debating whether blue is the new black, whether the mullet dress should go the way of the mullet, and whether men can make it onto the best-dressed list without looking absolutely silly (we’re talking to you, Christopher Plummer). So, now that we’ve gushed over little sisters Elle Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen, and we’ve been pondering the fact that all those gothic ladies were wearing romantic black at 3 in the afternoon, it’s time to commit to a best-dressed list. From the adorableThomas Horn and Berenice Bejo to the deliciously elegant Charlize Theron, Michelle Williams and Sir Ben Kingsley, to Brad Pitt and h here are our 12 favorites from the evening. 1. Charlize Theron is edgy in Azzedine Alaia.
Has Charlize Theron ever gotten it wrong? Not that we can remember. The Young Adult star walked the gray carpet in a black, floor-length gown from Azzedine Alaïa's Fall 2011 collection — the gown featured some beautiful details, like a tiered hem and feminine scalloping at the neck. To show off the intricacy of the dress, Charlize kept her hair slicked back, with a pretty braided bun on one side. She kept her makeup minimal, as well as her accessories, opting for a black box clutch and a jeweled ring. Do you love Charlize's look?
Source We knew the gown Carolina Herrera created specifically for theBreaking Dawn wedding took six months to design and that it left Robert Pattinson floored, but in the new issue of Town & Country Weddings, the designer revealsKristen Stewart‘s very personal reaction.
“We did three fittings. When she initially put on the dress and looked over her shoulder into the mirror, she was very moved,” Herrera tells the mag, on stands Wednesday. “In that moment she was not an actress or a character in a film but instead a bride, and a happy one at that.” Read more here: People Style Watch DANA REBECCA DESIGNS BRACELETS
