1: Thor – Chris Hemsworth: Capturing my heart in his first moments of screen time in STAR TREK, I was pleasantly surprised when Chris Hemsworth stripped down to wear a cape and armor in THOR. As a chiseled stubborn headstrong hammer wielding demigod, I swoon whenever the camera focuses in on his electrifying blue eyes. Or his giant arm muscles. Or his abs. . .sigh. Is it wrong that I am jealous whenever he smooches Natalie Portman?

The upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie is all the talk in Hollywood at the moment. The producers have now been announced and now everyone is back to wondering who should star as the sexy Christian Grey and innocent Ana Steele. Although, they aren't the only roles fans are curious about... Mrs. Robinson, aka Elena Lincoln, Christian's ex-dom, is an older, sexy blonde haired woman who Anastasia instantly dislikes. Ana sees Elena as a criminal who took advantage of the young Christian when he was just fifteen years old, but regardless of this, Christian remains her close friend.

The book, by EL James (a pseudonym for British TV executive Erika Leonard), actually started as fan-fiction for characters fromStephenie Meyer's books, entitled "Master Of The Universe," later reworked, extended and republished as a stand-alone piece, and released as an e-book over three volumes between May 2011 and January 2012. It became a word-of-mouth hit, picked up by Vintage Books for a wider commercial release this April, and has, in a little over a year, sold 20 million copies across the three books -- accounting for one in every five hardback fiction novels sold, with Leonard said to be earning $1 million a week for her troubles. It's all the more impressive considering that the story is unashamed, and reasonably explicit, erotica, not a genre that's led to blockbuster sales figures.
And inevitably, despite the dangers involved, film rights were swiftly snapped up, with Universal's indie armFocus Features winning the bidding war, ahead of the likes of Warners, Sony and Paramount, with the prestige of James Schamus' company, behind films like "Brokeback Mountain" and "Moonrise Kingdom," apparently swinging it, although James apparently retains virtually unheard-of creative control over the adaptation. The film(s) isn't being fast-tracked, but Variety reported this morning that producers have spent the last week pitching to be put in charge of the project, so clearly movement is happening. Read More Here: It’s so new we don’t even know when it’s coming out… but filming is currently underway for Mad Max: Fury Road, the action-adventure starring Tom Hardy as lead Max Rockatansky. And we Cannot. Wait.
But what do we know of this action extravaganza? Well, it’s the fourth instalment of the original Mad Max trilogy from 1979-1985, which starred a then unknown Mel Gibson and made him a star. In the original, set in a dystopian future in Australia, a brutal biker gang kill a policeman’s family and he seeks his vengeance. In the new version, Charlize Theron co-stars as Furiosa, who is missing the lower half of her left arm. It also boasts one hell of a cast. Which, to be honest, is what we’re most interested in. Who are they though? Tom Hardy Since his breakthrough performance in Inception two years ago, Tom has taken Hollywood by storm; rom-comThis Means War with Reese Witherspoon and boxing drama Warrior were hits last year and, from next week, you can catch him playing baddie Bane in Batman flick, The Dark Knight Rises. So much more than just a pretty face (and smoking hot body). Charlize Theron Clearly she needs no introduction. The Oscar-winning South African beauty has been working non-stop recently, from 2011’s dark comedy Young Adult to this year’s Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsmen. She shaved her head last month for her role as Furosia. Riley Keough Grand-daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, Riley recently appeared as a pink-haired bad girl in Magic Mikewhere she met co-star and current fiancé, Alex Pettyfer. Rock and roll legacy and super-hot fiancé? She’s on our cool list. Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz These two are no strangers to action adventure; they both starred in last year’s X Men: First Class. Brit boy Nicholas you’ll know from the first series of Skins and About A Boy (it’s him! The boy!), whilst Zoe is making serious acting waves after her impressive performance in X Men. And no sign of help from Dad, Lenny, either. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Another Brit, Rosie whet her acting appetite in Transformers: Dark of the Moon last year. Rumour has it she pulled out of US fashion show Project Runway at the last minute to take this role, causing ‘huge drama.’ The show’s production company, owned by Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, is reportedly threatening to sue. Oops. Abbey Lee Kershaw Another model to add to this rather beautiful cast. Australian Abbey has walked the catwalk for, amongst others, Oscar de la Renta, Halston, Gucci and Rodarte and been photographed by Terry Richardson and Karl Lagerfeld. If she can handle the drama backstage at Fashion Week, filming stunt scenes in outback Australia should be a breeze. The Prometheus co-stars were photographed for the cover by Mario Sorrenti with styling by Edward Enninful. Prometheus debuted in theaters last month and has since grossed over $122 million domestically and a total of nearly $300 million worldwide. FYI: Charlize is wearing a Dior Archivelambskin dress, LaCrasia Gloves gloves, and an Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. sterling silver necklace. Michael is wearing a DSquared 2 lambskin vest, Viktor & Rolf Monsieur leather pants, and a Bess belt. For more from Charlize and Michael, visit WMagazine.com! Bella Swan (played by Stewart), is now a vampire. She was converted by her husband Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson) after they got married in Breaking Dawn Part 1. A studio release Monday morning revealed Bella’s character will experience some startling changes, including her strength. Bella has now been described as ‘in control’ of Edward. He, along with a new dynamic, will be formed in their relationship during the epic finale of The Twilight Saga film adaptations, based on Stephanie Meyer's best-selling novels. The arrival of their daughter sets in motion a perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the terrifying council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle. According to Co-Director Jack Morissey, there will be a definite shift in the dynamic between the two in the hotly anticipated movie. "No, Bella is a vampire now. She is the one in control," Morissey said. Throughout the series, Kristen Stewart portrayed the role of the helpless Bella who always endangers her own life. However, this shift in her character will be welcomed by fans and will provide an exciting and epic finale to the series. For those fans who have waited to see Bella take a more assertive role in her relationship and fight to protect her husband, her daughter Renesmee, and the rest of her friends and family, “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2” might at last be the film to see this human-turned-vampire in action. “Breaking Dawn Part 2” sinks its teeth into theaters in the U.S. with an expected release date of November 16, 2012.
